A bright and breezy day at Martinique today started with continuing repairs to the runway, with a great turnout of club members willing to lend a hand.
With the wind relatively steady and in the right direction we got a good turnout of members and flying commenced watched on by a number of army cadets on exercise in the surrounding area as well as members’ children and grandchildren.
Steve’s model looks fantastic but is still proving to be a handful in the sky.
Finally (at least for me as I had to leave early) Chairman Dave amazed the kids with his Jet flying skills and amazed the club members by landing with his undercarriage intact.
Did we manage to get Norman off the Roller? Did we manage to get the Roller restarted? I guess I will find out next time…
